Kiron Open Higher Education is a non-profit organization offering free online learning opportunities to refugees and underserved communities worldwide since 2015. Through the platform, Kiron Campus, students receive access to high-quality higher education and a large online student community. Kiron’s innovative model consists of free, tailor-made study programs by clustering Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) from renowned educational providers, collective impact partners and Open Educational Resources (OERs) for academic, professional and personal growth.

At Kiron, we are tackling the huge societal challenge of making high-quality education accessible to underserved communities. To do that, we count on 60 employees from 25 different nationalities that want to have a real impact in the lives of the thousands of students served by our Campus. Tasks:

  • Create a growth strategy for acquiring new impact partners and customers by defining the non-profit target market, creating personas, and assigning them to the most efficient acquisition channels.
  • Develop insights from data-driven analysis to help make better decisions to design and execute Kiron’s non-profit market entry, validation and growth strategy.
  • Collaborate closely with teams, partners and stakeholders to develop evidence-based and impact-oriented plans and objectives.
  • Work closely with impact partners to understand their product requirements for the Kiron platform.
  • Evaluate and optimize the impact partner/program lifecycle on the Kiron platform 
  • High collaboration with Comms team to leverage marketing approaches and to optimize the sales cycle.
  • Connect with potential impact partners and key non-profit sector leaders. 

 

Requirements:

  • You share our vision of free and democratic access to education for refugees and underserved communities worldwide.
  • You have 5+ years experience in a similar role, ideally in an agile tech and/or social sector environment.
  • You have a proven track record of successful project management and partner collaboration.
  • You have a strong ability for optimizing marketing and product experiences to rapidly spin up new experiments to test hypotheses.
  • You possess strong analytical abilities and a data-driven approach to product decision-making.
  • You are a collaborative team player with strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • You are driven by a passion for creating impactful products and resolving partner challenges.
  • You possess the ability to quickly grasp new concepts and technologies, and you understand the social and education sectors. 
  • You speak and write English fluently. French, Arabic, German would be a plus
